Louis J. Lallow, 71, a native of Allen county and a resident of Fort Wayne and vicinity practically all his life, died suddenly yesterday at the home of a daughter at Klinger lake.
For the past year he had lived with Mrs. Gladys Oppenheimer of Sturgis, Mich., a daughter. He was employed here as a carpenter until 11 years ago, when he retired. He was a member of the local carpenters' union and of Trinity M. E. church. Surviving besides his wife, Ella, and his mother, Mrs. Morrine Lallow of Fort Wayne, are the following children: Robert and Clarence of Fort Wayne; Frank of Wheelersburg, O.; Mrs. Muriel Reggy of Cincinnati; Claude Lallow of Sturgis, and Mrs. Oppenheimer, and three sisters, Mrs. William Meyers of Ashtabula, O.; Mrs. Mary Mitchell of Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Alice Berk of St. Louis.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Eel River Baptist church, Rev. E. E. Trippeer of the Trinity M. E. church officiating. Burial will be Eel River cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Lallow, 70, former Fort Wayne resident, who died Wednesday morning in the Memorial hospital at Sturgis, Mich., following a three-months' illness, will be conducted Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock (EWT) at the Moon funeral home in Sturgis and 2 o'clock (CWT) in the Eel River chuch in Whitley county. Burial will be in the Eel River cemetery.
Mrs. Lallow was born in Whitley county, spent most of her childhood in Churubusco and made her home in Fort Wayne for 43 years before moving to Sturgis 16 years ago. Surviving at two daughters, Mrs. Muriel O'Neil of Columbus, O., and Mrs. Gladys Oppenhamer of Sturgis; two sons, Robert and Clarence Lallow of Fort Wayne; a brother, Will Johnson of near Churubusco; a sister, Mrs. Mary Van Meter of near Churubusco; 14 granchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Lallow was a member of Trinity Methodist church and a charter member of the Lillian M. N. Stevens W. C. T. U. here.
