Cline C. Zolman, 83, of Churubusco, died at 7:52 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17, 2003 at Parkview Whitley Hospital in Columbia City.
Born on Oct. 4, 1920 in Allen County, he was a son of Garra H. and Grace B. (Rosenogle) Zolman.
A U.S. Army Air Corps. veteran, he was married to Betty Mae Grove on Jan. 8, 1945 in Colorado Springs, Colo.
He retired from International Harvester, was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Columbia City, Churubusco Masonic Lodge 515, Columbia City Elks Lodge 1417, Churubusco Lions Club, Churubusco American Legion Post 157, and Whitley County Shrine Club. He enjoyed golf, bowling, New York Yankee baseball and hunting.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Mae; a daughter, Patty (Don) Amber of Churubusco; two sons, Michael (Sharon) Zolman of Fort Wayne; and Gary Zolman of Churubusco; three brothers, Charles Zolman of Zeeland, Mich.; Dale Zolman and Robert Zolman, both of Churubusco; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service is at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at Orr Funeral Home in Churubusco with the Rev. Robert Schemm officiating. Burial follows at Covington Memorial Gardens with military rites by the Air Force Honor Guard.
Visitation is from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with a Lions memorial service at 7 p.m. and a Masonic service at 7:15 p.m. Visitation is also one hour prior to the service Thursday.
