Zolman
James Zolman, aged 67, died of heart trouble Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at 1602 Third Street, where he had been making his home recently.
He was born near Churubusco. The body was removed to C. M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home.
Surviving are two sons, Claude and Chester, three sisters, Mrs. Alphonse Barkman, of Mentone, Mrs. Ona Merrick, of Elkhart, and Mrs. W. M. Zellers, of Fort Wayne,
and two brothers, Charles, of this city, and John, of Mentone.
Funeral rites will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the funeral parlors.
Burial will be in Eel River Cemetery.

MRS. MAUD ZOLMAN DIED IN FORT WAYNE HOSPITAL
Mrs. Maud Zolman, formerly of Smith township, who resided at 519 Fulton street in Fort Wayne,
died Friday afternoon in the St. Joe hospital where she had been for fifteen days.
She was afflicted with obstruction of the bowels and an operation finally became inevitable,
but she did not survive it.
She was born in Smith township May 22, 1876, and was aged 33 years, 4 months and 15 days.
She leaves a husband and two sons, Chester and Claud, her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Jacob Slessman, west of Churubusco,
George of Seattle and Mrs. Sadie Long of Churubusco.
Short services were held Saturday forenoon and the remains were taken across country to the home of
her parents where the funeral will occur Sunday at 10 a.m.; interment in Eel River cemetery.
